With the departure of the graduating seniors, University of Cincinnati head coach Mick Cronin signed four new recruits to play for his 2008-09 men's basketball team.

Cronin signed Yancy Gates and Cashmere Wright to play for the Bearcats on Nov. 14, 2007.

The Cincinnati Bengals have once again allowed other teams to dictate their course of action on draft day.

Leading up to the draft it was common knowledge that the Bengals were desperately trying to fill a hole at defensive tackle.

After locking up two young defensive ends in Robert Gathers and Antwan Odom, the Bengals needed a stud at defensive tackle to fill out the defensive line and free up the ends in pass rush situations.

The Northern Kentucky University baseball team (28-20, 18-9 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference) won three of four games against Wisconsin-Parkside (4-34, 1-26 in the GLVC) over the weekend.

NKU swept Wisconsin-Parkside on April 26, winning Game 1 by a score of 7-0 and Game 2 10-4.
