Students looking for signs of spring will be receiving one very big one here soon. The RWC chapter of Phi Theta Kappa has been approved for planting a garden near the statue in the Commons.

PTK President Anthony Rowe mentioned that this is part of the honor society's Project Green, an effort to help improve the environment and to give students something pleasant to look at as they come back and forth to school.

The garden will be approximately 3-4 feet wide around the circumference of the base of the statue. President Rowe is hoping to have the project completed by the end of May or early June. Any help or donations towards the garden will gladly be accepted and interested parties can contact President Rowe at roweac@email.uc.edu.

President Rowe said that he "hopes that the students of Raymond Walters College will enjoy this garden and that it will brighten their days on their travels here at school."
