Picnik.com is an excellent source for all your photo editing needs. There are so many cool things you can do on this site, and it's completely free!

First, you simply sign up by making up a username and password. Yes, it's that easy.

Once you sign in, you can upload a photo to start with. These pictures can be uploaded directly from your computer files or from a web album, such as one that you might have on Myspace or Facebook.

Then the site takes your photo to the editing screen where it automates characteristics such as, "fixing underexposed photos, removing red-eye, and applying effects to your photos."

These editing tools are extremely easy to use. In this window you can crop, resize, and rotate pictures. There are also special effects like certain fonts, shapes, and frames you can apply. You can also touch-up your pictures by whitening teeth and/or fixing blemishes.

A collage feature is also on the site where it allows you to pick your photos and how many photos you want to make up your collage.

Even emailing your pictures to friends is just a click of a button.

Picnik.com works for Mac, Windows, and Linux, and you don't have to install anything. It's totally free and fun to use.

I love this website, and I use it on a regular basis. The picture I chose to represent my piece was one which I edited myself, using Picnik.com. I would highly recommend this website for all you creative people out there.
