RWC Dental Hygiene students of 2009 have just recently scored above the national average on the Dental Hygiene National Board Examination. This is the first of three licensing exams the students must pass to continue in the dental hygiene profession.

All students, including RWC Honor Student of the Year Mandalyn Fullmer, were successful with the exam and now are awaiting results from the Northeast Regional Board Examination, an exam students took May 15.

The Northeast Regional Board Examination includes not only a clinical patient but also a written report as well. The final licensing exam mainly covers the Ohio Dental Practice Act and will be taken later this quarter.

Also first year students are finishing this quarter as they treat patients in the Dental Hygiene Clinic. All members of the community are welcome to call for an appointment (513-745-5630).
